The horror feature Bashira, directed by Academy Award-winning VFX artist Nickson Fong (IMDb), has been attracting attention for its hauntingly original score, which I had the privilege of composing. The score was awarded “Best Score” at FilmQuest and “Best Original Soundtrack” at TerrorMolins. Since then, many have reached out expressing interest in hearing the music or seeing the film.
While a theatrical or streaming release is still in the works, I’ve made select pieces from the score available on SoundCloud. The score features the Czech National Symphony Orchestra (CNSO), bringing a rich, full orchestral sound to the intense atmospherics of horror. For composers and orchestrators, the score is particularly intriguing—it’s packed with an array of string techniques, offering a rare and vivid listening experience even without the visuals. All sound design elements are crafted by myself as well, building an immersive sonic landscape.
Though these SoundCloud tracks aren’t yet mastered for an official release, an official soundtrack album is “likely” on the horizon.
If you have any questions about these tracks or the project, please feel free to reach out. Additionally, I invite you to explore a variety of other genres I’ve composed, all available to listen to for free on my SoundCloud. Enjoy discovering something new!
